Jasia - Jaffa Asian Restaurant

Jasia is a chef's restaurant in the heart of Old Jaffa, born from a shared dream of two childhood friends, both natives of the area. From a deep connection to local roots alongside a great love for Asian cuisines, a unique menu was created that tells a story of identity, memories and flavors.

The dishes at Jasia combine culinary traditions from the Far East – Japan, Thailand, India and China – with inspiration from the cuisine they grew up with, a home-cooked cuisine that is warm and full of character. The result is an original and exciting interpretation of familiar dishes, with surprising combinations that connect distant worlds into one complete experience.

When old and new tell a story

The restaurant is housed in an ancient stone building of the Greek Orthodox Church – an extraordinary space, rich in history and atmosphere. The high stone walls remain exposed, preserving the power and story of the place, alongside a meticulous interior design that combines elements from the sea and the East.

Impressive stone arches, original wooden beams and fishing ropes combine with modern Asian touches to create a unique dialogue between past and present. The soft, contemporary lighting envelops the space in an intimate and warm feeling, while world music plays in the background, adding depth and character.

The atmosphere at Jasia is open, inviting, and multicultural – a place where people, languages, and flavors meet around one table.

Jaffa and Asia – a love story

Jasia's menu offers a rich and varied experience, with an emphasis on high-quality, fresh ingredients. Alongside dishes based on fish, seafood and meat, you will also find a wide selection of vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and sugar-free dishes - so everyone can find their place.

The combination of deep-rooted Jaffa and distant Asia is expressed in unique dishes such as tandoori chicken salad with crispy beets or spicy pad won sun with roasted pistachio chips - unusual combinations that surprise every time.

Alongside this, the menu also includes beloved classics from Asian cuisine: miso soup, egg rolls, yakitori in a variety of versions (salmon, shrimp or chicken), rich wok dishes of rice and noodles, and more. Meat and seafood lovers will enjoy meticulously grilled dishes – from whole fish to quality entrecote – as well as seafood casserole and homemade schnitzels coated in crispy panko.

The impressive sushi menu includes original creations alongside the option of personal assembly, and finally – the changing house desserts, which complete the experience with a sweet taste.
